Nokia Supports Yahoo Maps

Nokia Corp. will provide mapping and navigation services for Yahoo Inc. It’s a common knowledge that this Internet Company can not compete with Google Inc., which flood in the location of important services. Nokia also began overshadowed by Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s Blackberry.
According to an announcement issued on Monday (24 / 5), Yahoo will also provide e-mail and instant messaging on your Nokia phone.
Partnership, said Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz, is increasingly becoming part of the Yahoo DNA. Last year, the company entered into a partnership with Microsoft Corp. internet searches in an effort to reduce the leadership of Google.
Yahoo and Motorola did not disclose financial details of the deal. But, both will mutually benefit from the ability they have. Existing services will support each other both brands.
For navigation and map powered by Yahoo will be written in Ovi, software and service marks of Nokia. Mail Ovi and Nokia’s Ovi Chat Mail will also be powered by Yahoo. Services will start to become available later this year and will be offered worldwide in the year 2011.
