Intel claims processor Extreme Edition Core i7 just released is one of the fastest desktop chip. The reason Intel’s Core i7 chip is built with 975 manufacturing and adopt 45nm Nehalem architecture capable of driving with a 3.33 GHz clock speed. Combined with Smart L3 cache is 8 GB. Chip Core i7 975 will be the second class after the Core i7 965. Quad-core processor Intel Core i7 975 is even claimed to also carry the 4 percent rate to 5 percent than its predecessor Intel processor, Core i7 965.

Core i7 is designed with a size of 263 m2, is supported by the L2 cache 1 MB, 8 MB of L2 cache, a 25X clock multiplier and a TDP (Thermal Design Power) 130 W. Meanwhile, Intel also released the Core i7 950 with a clock speed of 3.06 GHz frequency 4.8 GT QPI / sec.

For dual frequency QuickPath Interconnects (QPI) can transfer data at a speed of 6.4 GT / sec, and the performance of Intel’s SpeedStep (EIST), Virtualization (VT) and the Turbo Boost technology auto-overclocking is enabled. Intel Core i7 950 is to fix prices range from U.S. $ 540 to U.S. $ 570. It’s so amazing and cheaper.

BMW ConnectDrive Technology or Ford SYNC is trying to make some phone features like SMS and email that can be used in a car but how if we want to make all phone functions can be used in car dashboard? Nokia Terminal Mode is promising technologies that can be used combine a mobile phone on the dashboard of a car and function as a whole in terms of existing screens in the dashboard of a car will replace your phone. This technology has recently exhibited at the Terminal Mode MobileBeat 2010 which combined in a VW Passat.

The principle is the same as you do on the computer, once connected to the car via a USB cable and with the help of all the features of mobile applications can be operated via the display on the dashboard. (more…)

After the last few years favor dual core processors and four cores on the market for desktop and servers, Intel is currently preparing six-core processors. However, these processors will not be released for mainstream computers. For a while, the processor will be designed for desktop and server class. Chips that are used Westmere based architecture that provides better performance than previous generations and better power saving.

The processor contains 1.17 billion transistors and has 12 MB cache, the process of production using 32-nanometer technology as now used in the processor core I3, I5, and i7. Although the same basic architecture, the six-core processor will not be equipped with integrated graphics chipset, so users must still have a separate VGA card in the computer. Intel six-core processor targeted at the desktop with Gulftown code name for the gamer market. These processors will be sold a category with Core i7 and technically can be used with the same motherboard.
